The 10th International Conference on Asian Solidarity was held successfully

The 10th Asian Joint Conference on Propulsion (AJCPP), co-organized by the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics, the Japan Society of Aerospace Science and the Korean Society of Propulsion Engineering, was successfully held on March 4-5, 2021. This session was hosted by the Korean Society of Propulsion Engineering. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire meeting was held online. Academician Xu Jianzhong, Honorary Chairman of the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony as a representative of the conference initiator, warmly congratulating the successful convening of the conference and hoping that the conference will continue to uphold the purpose of strengthening high-level academic exchanges, promote cooperation and achieve win-win results.

The Asian Joint Conference on Propulsion is a high-level international conference in the field of aerospace propulsion in Asia. The number of participants in the 10th Asian Joint Conference on Propulsion reached 274, a record high. The invited experts and reports of this conference are:

During the meeting, experts and scholars at the meeting held heated discussions on reports in the fields of aerospace engines (compressors/turbines/combustion technology), rocket engines, ramjets, computational fluid dynamics, and propulsion devices and technologies. In view of the vigorous development of electric propulsion research, this conference has set up a new "Special Forum on Electric Propulsion", which has greatly aroused the interest of experts and scholars in the field of electric propulsion in Asia. The number of participants in the forum has reached more than 100. The Korean Organizing Committee specially organized a coordination meeting of international committee members and secretaries-general from China, Japan and South Korea on February 9, and organized pre-conference rehearsals for the chairman and speaker of the forum from March 1 to 3. The rigorous and serious working attitude of the Korean Organizing Committee ensured the complete success of this conference. At the closing ceremony of the conference, Professor Youngbin Yoon of the National University of Korea, the chairman of this conference, announced that the 11th Asian Joint Propulsion International Conference will be held in Kanazawa, Japan in 2023.
