From March 15 to 17, the 9th Asian Joint Conference on Propulsion and Power (AJCPP 2018) was successfully held in Xiamen, jointly organized by the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics (CSET) and the China Key Laboratory of Hypersonic Ramjet Technology, co-organized by the Japan Society of Aeronautics and Space Science (JSASS) and the Korean Society of Propulsion Engineers (KSPE), and hosted by the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Xiamen University. The Asian Joint Conference on Propulsion and Power (AJCPP) is a joint conference initiated by organizations in the Asia-Pacific region. It is one of the high-level international conferences for Asian countries to exchange views on the field of aircraft propulsion and power, and has a wide influence in this field. The conference topics cover aerospace/mechanical engineering, thermal fluid/electromagnetic/plasma physics, structure/material design, and fluid machinery. The AJCPP conference has always been an excellent platform for promoting research
